To My Friends & Family:

I am again participating in the American Cancer Society 2008 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 19, and I hope you will join me by making a donation in support of my efforts. This year, hundreds of thousands of women will hear the words "You have breast cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I myself am a breast cancer survivor and I have chosen to help fight back against this disease. 

Making Strides walkers unite to honor breast cancer survivors and to educate women about early detection and prevention. And of course, by raising money to support the American Cancer Society fight against breast cancer. We help fund groundbreaking research, public awareness campaigns, efforts to ensure all women have access to mammograms, and free programs and services that improve the quality of life for patients and their families.    I hope you will support my efforts by making a donation using my personal online fundraising page. August 2008                                                                                                                                                             Believe it or not - it’s time for the Reavis High School Class of 1968 40th Reunion.  Save the date and plan on joining us for a full day of activities.

WHEN - Saturday, October 4, 2008

WHERE - (1:00 pm) Reavis High School Football Stadium - Homecoming Game.  There will be a section reserved under the press box for our group. We will be announced at halftime. Lunch will be provided. (7:00 pm) Fountain Hills Golf Course Clubhouse 12601 South Kedzie Ave. Alsip, IL 60803 (Casual Affair, Buffet Dinner, Cash Bar, Music) TICKETS - $40 per person (Includes dinner and souvenir CD with updated classmate information)

HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS - A block of rooms has been reserved at Baymont Inn, 12801 S. Cicero, Alsip, IL 60803 (708-597-3900) - Mention Reavis Reunion Class of 1968. $109 plus tax per night includes free shuttle service to the Golf Course, and extended continental breakfast (waffles, French toast, pastries, fruit, cereals, juices, milk, coffee, tea). Rooms are limited and reservations must be made by September 1st to guarantee that price - make your reservations early.
